Watch Diamond Road on History Television
January 4, 2010
For those of you who prefer to sit back on your couch and watch television, the Gemini award-winning 3-part TV version of Diamond Road will be airing on History Television starting January 25th at 7pm.
Part 1 airs at 7pm on Monday January 25th, followed by part 2 on Monday February 1st and part 3 on Monday February 8th (all 7pm). Check the full schedule on History's website closer to the date for more details.

Featured story: Baba Touray works in one of the largest diamond-producing countries in the world - it also happens to be one of the poorest.
Baba Touray, development worker in Sierra Leone.
Sierra Leone is one of the ten largest diamond-producing countries in the world, yet it is among the world's poorest nations. Now that their brutal 11-year civil war has ended, the country is starting to piece itself back together. But diamond miners are still paid an average of only three American Dollars per day, and conditions leave a lot to be desired.

After ten years of trying to reclaim their diamond rich land, the case was settled. We’ve just added some new clips, offering a glimpse of their life after a long-awaited victory.

Diamond Road Online to show at prestigious SIGGRAPH conference

If you happen to be in Los Angeles in August, check us out at SIGGRAPH! Widely considered the most prestigious forum for computer graphics and interactive techniques research, SIGGRAPH is basically the biggest technology, research, and innovation conference around, with both academic and industry professionals in attendance.
The event runs from August 11 - 15th at the Los Angeles Convention Centre.
Diamond Road Online has already been making the festival and conference rounds. Kensington’s team made a successful appearance on the new media panel at the Realscreen Summit, a non-fiction film and television industry event in Washington, D.C.
Before going to Washington, DRO was a featured case study at DOC IT, a two-day conference on interactive documentary production put on by the Documentary Organization of Canada, and was featured in the keynote address at the Australian International Documentary Festival in Perth.
Feature film version of Diamond Road wins top prize at Worldfest

We are pleased to announce that the feature-length film version of Diamond Road has won the top prize for Documentary Feature at the 41st Annual WorldFest in Houston.
After its world premier at the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), Diamond Road will be making its North American festival premiere later this month at the DOXA Film Festival in Vancouver.The festival runs from May 22nd to 27th. Visit the DOXA website for screening times.
